In just over a week, the third round of the South Island Winter Series will be underway, this time we get away from the fresh lake water and battle it out in Caroline Bay, Timaru.

Round 3 – Caroline Bay – Timaru

Hosted by Southern Jetsports Club
Venue – Timaru Yacht Club – At the end of Marine Parade (Use the big loop)
8.30am Check in with officials and scruitineering
10.am Riders Briefing
11am Pole Ski race begins 45mins
12 noon Runabout race begins 45mins
1.00pmaproxRe fuel Runabouts
1.30pm Runabout Race Restarts 45mins
Pole skiers have a compulsory fuel stop. This is on the Caroline Bay Beach in the ski lane – Marked by big orange poles., racers to arrange trolleys and people to pull your skis out of the water for fueling. There will be a fuel marshal on site to penalize racer for any fuel spilt.
Runabouts will be trailered out of the harbour for re fueling. Please have your fuel containers ready . No Fueling in or on the water.
We have the use of the Timaru Yacht Club for the day. Toilets, showers, warm rooms with good views over the race area.
After the racing is finished the bar will be open for refreshments and a prize giving will be held once the points are calculated.
There will be a barbeque on site during the day and some finger food provided in the bar at prize giving.
